At the end of 2009 there was several steam special trains, but with little time to spare I headed for Greatford Crossing which is in Lincolnshire! With plenty of normal activity from East Coast, Hull Trains, Grand Central, Freightliner, EWS

Another round up of Lincolnshire Mainline during 2009. Events include Route learners to Skegness including a class 67 (that shouldn't), Engineers, Class 56's & 47's on Boston Steel's, The annual RHTT, 31's in Spalding & Peakirk, Lincoln Specials with 60019 "BITTERN" & Class 67's with the VSOE and of course the endless colourful units!

A Collection from the early 1980's when BR Blue reigned! As the title suggest all taken in the Spalding area, mostly at Tulip Saturdays when Spalding got busy!

This years Holiday (in April) was based in the North West at Southport Pontins. To get there a lunch visit to Rowsley on the Peak Rail. At Pontins, Ainsdale being the local station to catch the 507/8! Visit included Llangollen Railway in Wales in wet weather (Booked!). The Windmill Farm Railway being a 15"gauge line using stock from the Abandon Southport Lakeside Minarture Railway. On the return Peak Forest was our lunch time venue.

20th December 2008, A Great Day in having 2! Western's in Anglia. The railtour was hauled by D1015 WESTERN CHAMPION but one side as D1032 WESTERN MARKSMAN! Phots obtained at Liverpool Street, Ely, Yarmouth. Back into Liverpool Street 32 minutes early!!!!
